Our Story

It all started on a dating app called Hinge… Anthony and I matched in San Diego and started talking for a few weeks. Despite us both being super nervous, we decided to meet up at Balboa Park for a first date. Things went super well and we spent hours walking, talking, and enjoying each other’s company. We could not wait to see each other again so we planned a second date right away. Anthony then went to see his family for a bit but we planned to meet up again once he came back. We hung out a couple more times before he went away for work for a whole month.

When he came back from that trip, that’s when we really we able to build upon that in-person connection. Anthony likes to say I had him at “cake” because after he came back I made him a cake for his birthday inspired by the cake his mom would make him every year. Three months after meeting we made things official! We’ve been inseparable ever since. After a few months, Anthony’s job relocated him to Minnesota and I made the decision to move with him. Now we live together along with our two dogs Maui and Beau. We’re so excited to tie the knot and start the rest of our lives together!
